Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-08-07T14:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-08-07T14:24:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S10W22
Active Region Number: 13774
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Faint CME visible to the SW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3. The CME is not visible in STEREO A COR2 in real-time due to a data gap starting at 2024-08-07T14:09Z. Eruption with M4.5 flare from AR 3774 (approx. S10W22), field line movement, and possible faint EUV wave visible in SDO AIA 193. Opening field lines are best seen in SDO AIA 171 and GOES SUVI 284. The eruption is also visible from the point of view of STEREO A EUV 195.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
